Is cnet.downloads safe

Cnet claims that those downloads have already been tested. However when I look up online there are times where cnet screwed up.

CNET has always been fine for me. Just make sure you're clicking the actual download link, and not the cleverly hidden ad ones.

I do believe I said "has always been fine for me"... because I do actually read through the installer and make sure to not select additional downloads. Which, as far as I know, aren't actually viruses.
