is the harddrive the same between the two laptops?
1. Dell 3543 i5 ?5th gen? 2016/6
2. Dell 3567 i7 7th Gen (new) 2017/3

boss wants to take the harddrive from the old laptop and put into the new one?
says they are identical
please provide reasons if incorrect?

If they are the same dell wouldn't give them different model #

To move the hard drive and install a fresh OS, it could work. To move the hard drive and assume it will boot and have zero issues, no.

Hi yes I am aware they are different models. That is fairly obvious.
What I require assistance with if anyone knows the specs is what makes the harddrives between the 2 models uniquely different
