Is it possible to remove the software of a children's tablet (Leapfrog) and replace it with Android?

My son has an old tablet I brought for him a few years ago, but he now has a newer one which runs Android kitkat. His old tablet is a Leapfrog Ultra(?). And so I'm curious, is it possible to remove the software in the tablet and replace it with any version of Android?

As far as I know there isn't a way to do that. You could try talking to the people in the "Rooting, Jailbreaking & Unlocking" Forum http/www.tomsguide.com/forum/forum-117.html and see if they have any ideas.
