Unclear.

I do know whatever version u want to install, make sure the laptop vendor have all proper drivers for that Windows version.

Another thing to be aware of, the laptop recovery method maybe different for the 2 different Windows version. U installing a Windows version not original to what the laptop came with, verify drivers as mentioned last paragraph, and ask do you need to build a new recovery CD/Flash with the new OS.

Safe? Sure, your laptop won't explode if you install Windows 10.

Is it worth? I don't think so. Celeron CPU, probably 2gb RAM, mediocre Intel 450 video, slow 5400 HDD.
On top of that, you'll need to purchase new Windows 10 license.

Windows 10 probably will install, but chances are some devices won't be recognized.
