Is my adapter supplying enough power?

My laptop's adapter is rated at 120W max output, but the CPU+GPU alone consume 92W max. It was odd to me from the beginning that they paired such a low amperage adapter with these components.

Is there any way I can check if it is getting enough power, during gaming, for example? If it would require more than the adapter can supply, would it drain the extra from the battery?

I have this model, http://www.asus.com/Notebooks/X550JK/ with the i5-4200H Processor.

The rest of your computer does not need much power to run.

If you have the original asus power supply then then is nothing to worry about.

Asus is not going to give a laptop with underrated power supply
