Is my graphics card integrated?

Howdy!

I have an ASUS Q304UAK laptop, and I'm wondering if I can upgrade the video card, which is currently Intel(R) HD Graphics 620.

Yes, all intel graphics are integrated. You can not upgrade.

Once in a while I hear of these EXTERNAL GPUs. If they exist though most likely cost more than a new laptop.

Those are indeed intel integrated HD graphics. If you want to upgrade your GPU, you will likely need an external enclosure. Be sure that your laptop is compatible with it before you buy.
