IS my laptop OK?

Lenovo Z510 Ci7 4702/8Gb SSD / 8GB RAM / @ GB GeForce 740M
Now the problem is that with these specs The Evil Within runs @ 7 fps (high) and @9 (low)

Whereas my PC HD 7770/8GB RAM / i3 3220 runs the same game @ 30 (high)

Pleazz help ....I'm really pissed

maybe that's because your laptop has a GeForce 740M...the minimum system requirement is at least a" GeForce GTX 460".

Yaa but still 7 fps is too low....also wen i3 can pull it off upto 30 fps then y can't i7

do you even understand the concept of "minimum system requirements"? because the video card is the one responsible for the fps. if your video card does not even reach the minimum system requirements that means low fps and crappy graphics.

That sounds about right. Your gpu is not very strong and is only an entry level. Just because you have a good cpu, it doesn't mean that a game will run well. Depending on the game, it will put different loads on different components. The evil with is a gpu intensive game which is why you are getting low fps.
