GTX1060 is currently Nvidia mainstream graphic card for PC gamers. Here is comparison with GTX580M.

I assume you buy it from Ebay or similar website. It is better to buy new from Best buy or similar with up to date hardware. Even laptop with GTX 1050Ti is better than GTX580M
