Is the CPU in my laptop upgradable?

Hello I need some tips from you guys what to buy CPU for this

My laptop is Samsung RC410
Specs are
Intel i3
Nvidia 315m
6GB Ram

I just want to upgrade CPU any recommendations ?

You could, and it would be very difficult or maybe impossible if it’s soldered in, but to be honest, the upgrades you could get would have a very small effect knowing the motherboard you have. I’d say save up for a new system...sorry. You could try an SSD for quick loading times, but still, that’s a very outdated system.

Nah the CPU is not soldered in the motherboard it has to be twist in to get the CPU but the problem is the CPU is not compatible when I buy new CPU could you recommend me what to buy CPU? for this it would be helpful.

That 940 XM is 55 Watts - the 380 M is 35 Watts - that's a lot of extra heat for the laptop to deal with - I've sucessfully jumped from 35 w to 45 w but I've never tried jumping to 55.

The i7 640 M is a safer choice - 35 w. It turbos to 3.46 Ghz
