Question Is the Crucial MX500 1TB SATA 2.5" 7mm (with 9.5mm adapter) Internal SSD compatible with my laptop?

My laptop is a HP ProBook 450 G1 Notebook PC. It is running very slowly and I was hoping that by upgrading to an ssd would fix the speed issue. My choice of ssd is the Crucial MX500 1TB SATA 2.5" 7mm (with 9.5mm adapter) Internal SSD. Are they compatible and if not which ssd would be best?
