Is the new TCL 4k S517 2018 worth $80 extra compared to S405 2017 model?

So I'm pretty torn between the 2017 and 2018 series to hook up my PS4 pro in the bedroom, probably will use it for gaming mainly, a little of movies here and there.

As far as I know 2018 has Dolby HDR while 2017 only has HDR 10 but the Pro doesn't support Dolby HDR so it's not going to benefit that much.

Also S517 has wide color gamut and S405 doesn't.

Question is are all those advantages something I'd really notice a difference while gaming? If so I would gladly pay an extra $80

P/s: not willing to spend more than $400 since its my bedroom TV so 49'' is my best bet.

I bought the 49" S405 and I'm happy with it, HDR on the Pro works well (Monster Hunter World looks great!).

Both reviews are very good and IMHO doesn't appear that $80 justifies the difference.

Thanks for your input, I've also noticed that S405 is being reported as having lower brightness compared to its successor and some people believe that HDR without wide color gamut isn't worth turning on.

I can't find a S405 on display at any local store near I live so can't really do a side by side comparison with my own eyes.
