After looking around for a capable device (that is portable) for about $500, all I could come up with was an iPad. And we all know how capable an iPad is. So as of right now (from my findings), the link posted above is the only good windows machine (x86) that is between 10-12.5 inches and has an ssd (which I really want), for about $500. And as an added bonus, it has a 1.5 Ghz i5, which is always nice. Opinions? Other options?

All input is welcome, thank you.

Yes. As in how long the device will continue to perform with out too much lag. Because I've been worrying if 4GB of ram will be enough in two years, but 2 seems a bit low.

true 2gb is low it depends on what you plan to use the computer for and if u multi task alot. if using for browsing, skype, documents, etc it should last
