Is the performance of the i7 2630qm over the i5 2410m worth the price?

Hey I'm going to get a dell xps but can't make up my mind about sticking with the default i5 or upgrading to i7 for an additional 60$(I will remind you that here in India the value of 60$ is equal to a 110$, on an average 60$ here is a 1/3rd of a graduates monthly income). So is the performance justified by the price or no? I'm going to use the laptop for gaming, 3d modeling, animation, video editing, post processing, compositing, photoshop, corel painter. Plus some music editing and production as well. So for these applications is it worth getting core i7 or will the applications not make use of the 4 cores much?

It's definitely worth it.
Some games and apps like 3Dmax/Maya/PS all benefit from a quad core CPU
