is there any way to connect a yamaha sound bar ysa 101 to my westinghouse dwm 40f tv

I bought a sound bar for my tv . the sound bar only has optical outlet and my tv only hdmi

The TV HDMI is for inputs, look at the manual or the back of the TV for an output for audio, or see if the cable box has a separate audio out you can use. You may need to get a converter for the optical input on the sound bar.
