Is this a Decent Laptop?

As it is black Friday there are a lot of good deals going on. I found this laptop and was wondering if I added more Ram if it could handle a game like Far Cry 3 at medium graphics.

It is a little big for my tastes and I'm not great at picking out PC's, but for the price it seems like a great PC to me. I just want a second opinion and maybe some suggestions if anyone has any about other PC's that may be better for around $600, $700.

This MSI one is over your budget, I know, but for the price it is really powerful. The Radeon graphics should be able to run Far Cry at low to medium settings, but the specs for the MSI are just so much better.

The following link to the 15.6" ThinkPad E545 for $500 is a better deal than the 17.3" HP laptop. It has the A10-5750m APU with the integrated Radeon HD 8650g which is a bit more powerful than the A8-5550m APU in the HP laptop. However, it will only allow you to play Far Cry 3 with low settings.
