Is this a good Gaming Laptop for my son?

Wife wanted to surprise my son this Christmas and picked up a new laptop for him. Wanted to be sure that this will last him for a while or if there is a better one that we should pickup.

6300HQ is a true quad core so that is good.
Has a 960m for some gaming.
It has an SSD for fast boot times.

Looks like a fine laptop.

looks good. i am partial to MSI brand. i have a MSI m12 pre-built system myself. technically the components are great.
make sure you get all the insurence you can from best buy and register the new laptop with MSI when you first turn it on.
