Hey there!

I was just wondering if this laptop i just got could last me at least 2-3 years or so because i dont want to be spending more money as i want to start saving for a real desktop later on.

I used nVidia Inspector to boost my GPU.
+135
and
+1400

I got the ASUS G75VX.

8GB RAM
Intel Core i7 3630QM - 2.4GHz Quad Core
nVidia GTX 670MX 3GB DDR5
750GB HDD 7200RPM

I'm getting pretty good performance while playing games on Medium settings with these overclock settings, i hope someone can also tell me if i can overclock this further without crashing games.

Now, to my real question, would this laptop last atleast 2 years? :)

yeah it could last you even longer (longer but not as a gaming laptop then only browsing and such)

Prepare to play medium graphics games though (new releases)

Everything that's out now you should be able to play on high (possibly ultra on some with shadows and AA turned off)

Except Rome Total War 2, Battlefield 4, CoD Ghost your pc should run any game on high really... 24-30fps at least (give or take)

Now take some lesser graphical games like older Call of Duty's, League of Legends, Dota 2 ect. and yes you can max it out...

Well that's a bit dissapointing.. but to keep up with the latest games I can overclock to get slight fps boost, so is there any way to increase the gpu overclock than +135 (736mhz)? And what's the max MHz the gtx 670mx can reach without crashing games

Seriously you won't be able to "keep up" even with an OC'd GPU the 670 is old tech my friend, your gaming laptop isn't "new" it's rather new...ish at best :)

In less than 5 months the 8** series from Nvidia will be out so trust me 670 is not new.

Also with OC'ing comes added heat can your laptop really handle all the heat? Have you made the necessary preparations for airflow, cooling?

Just enjoy it for as long as you can :) you can play plenty of games on max I think possibly battlefield 3 as well, with reduced fps but should still be playable...

battlefield 4 on possibly high - medium isn't bad at all you should be glad :)

I will refrain from answering your last question for fear that if you OC too much your laptop's demise may be blamed on me.

Anyways thanks for the answers, I'll probably enjoy my laptop as long as possible

It will last even more also for gaming, i have Acer Aspire 5750G with i3, Geforce GT540M and i can play COD MW 3 on medium graphics with no problems...as you see my laptop is quite lame 😀, but games can still be played.
