Is this a good gaming laptop?

I am looking to buy a new laptop for college and I plan on playing games on it.
I'm looking into buying this one (http/www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152689) but im not sure how it will handle games.

The Main games i play are:
Arma III
Battlefield 4
Dayz
etc

How well will this computer handle such games, or will it not even be able to play them.

My friend reccomended i get something like this (http/www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152623&cm_re=msi_gs_60-_-34-152-623-_-Product) but its an extra 300 im not sure its worth. Any ideas???

Alienware M Series are the choice. Or go for Lenovos (the ones that costs around 900 USD and up)

No way is the more expensive one worth $300 extra, it's specs are almost identical... Both will handle games fine, though i'd probably go with something like this which outperforms both. http/www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834232202

MSI make great notebooks - I am currently running a GT60 2OD 3K, I have had a previous GT60 and another 14" model. I plan to get the GS30 when they are released as well. I think if you choose MSI you will be happy with the purchase. Really you should look at customizers to outfit your notebook the way you want it. try XoticPC
