is this a good laptop will it glide through day to to applications and photoshop. im aware that it can play most games at medium and low settings but im just wondering will it be quick and fast at everything else

Will run tings fine, any newer laptop in that price range will do things in an average way without issues.

Yes it should be able to handle normal things fine. Photoshop should run fine if you set it to use the dgpu instead of the igpu when you are doing medium loads.
