Hello, is this laptop good for its price?

ASPIRE V NITRO7-791G for 1059 euros.
Specifications are;

17.3'' LED Anti-Glare display 1920x1080,
Intel® Core™ i7-4720HQ Haswell Processor (6 MB Cache, 2.6 GHz) Quad-Core,
8 GB DDR3 - 1600 MHz 4x2GB.
HDD 1TB 5600 RPM,
GeForce GTX 960M 2GB GDDR3 GPU,



I plan to buy this computer for casual (not daily) rendering here and there and often gaming.
I also plan on buying some sort of cooling pad.

Will I be able to run most recent games on medium-ultra preset, on 720p/1080p?

No, I haven't, because the laptop I provided is the best one available in the store nearby, so, what's good or bad about this laptop?

The laptop should be able to handle all games at 720p easily. You maybe able to play some games at 1080p but these will not be the demanding games. Beware that acer has an always on fan. This means that the laptop can get very loud, very fast.
