Hey guys! I'm new here at Tom's. well I'm an upcoming 16 years old college student and will study the range of engineering. Well, I will buy a new laptop for my studies. I'm gonna use it for autoCAD etc. well, and For Gaming too! I saw this laptop on the internet and I'm gonna ask you guys if this specs is strong enough to play games like bf3 black ops2 on minimum graphics and Will hold autoCAD versions in the future years. Well this is the specs:

it's an Msi Gaming series Laptop Ge60-i31
Cpu: Intel i3 3120m 2.5ghz
GPU: geForce gt 650m 2gb Vram
Ram: 8gb
HDD: 750 gb
15.6 hd led and 6 cell battery life.

My budget is 800$
And what if the processor is The intel i3 3110m will there be a major factor?

Any answer is appreciated! Thank you in advance! God bless.

Solution
The GPU is decent for those games even on medium settings but the processor is very weak.
I would recommend going with a Lenovo instead

For $750-$800 You can get a Lenovo Y500 or Y580 from the Lenovo Outlet

Go here http://outlet.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/outlet_us/LenovoPortal/en_US/catalog.workflow:expandcategory?current-catalog-id=A4A41B4CA13D4754AE2FBF7721EBF357&current-category-id=908B184AED4F29502E6EB3E1E76AFC13&menu-id=products&ref-id=products#/?page-index=1

on the left hand side choose "Ideapad" then "Y series" "New" and MAKE SURE that you choose 1920x1080 (For engineering purposes) and search

You can check the website everyday as they keep adding new items to it. I personally haven't done much research on...

If you want to go with MSI, Newegg atm has a promotion that is 15% off for new customers up to $100 off. (You can use a diff CC/address) if you already shop with them I assume to get the promotion. A relative or a friends address etc (Make sure you tell them in advance).

Here is the link for the discount. http://slickdeals.net/f/6045908-15-Off-Laptop-Tablet-Desktop-or-Ultrabook-PCs-up-to-100-max-discount-Newegg-com-Valid-thru-06-30-13-New-Customers-Only
