Is this laptop appropriate for Uni Game Design Course?

Hi guys,

Im doing a Bachelors in Games Design in Australia and I think I would finally need to buy myself a laptop. I have my eyes on this one as it's fairly good priced and has great graphics/cpu for pretty much everything.

What do you guys think? Any better alternatives or retailers?

EDIT: A review said that the linked GE70 is quite loud with a reading of 35 dba. Is this unethical for Uni classes for notetaking?

Sorry, all these models are outdated and I cannot find them in my retailers. My linked GE70 has a GTX850M yet you have suggested the GTX570M which is not in any laptops that I can buy from.
