You can't tell the if the phone will work with a particular carrier/service provider just by the type of phone. You will have to contact those carriers/service providers and ask them directly if the phone will work. You will probably also need more info on the device to find out. Ask the carriers/service providers.

As to if it is 'any good' it really depends on what you want. Have you tried looking at the full specs for the device and also comparing it to other ones you are considering? There are many sites out there that you can do this on, so you have a better idea of what you are getting.
