No it takes thousands of servers with hundreds of gigabytes of ram and thousands of terabytes of storage to run the Internet.

You need at least 4gb these days to use the internet. Especially if you want to keep a lot of pages open.

Your PC will use about 2gb with Windows hardware allocations anyway.

I have a computer with windows xp and chrome runs smoothly, however I recommend at least 2Gb of ram
