ISO to MKV

i was wondering if there was an easy way to convert iso's or images of discs that i have made to 1 hd 1080p mkv file.

You could mount the ISO using Virtual Clone Drive, and then use MakeMKV to... make an mkv.

it will rip the file straight from the disc ?

Yes, the ISO will be seen as any other disc when mounted, and MakeMKV will pull the video, audio, subtitles, and whatever else you select and put them all into a single MKV container.
