I am trying to take screen shot in my dell vostro laptop. but i am unable to take screen shot please suggest me another way.

There is nothing at all that should block you from taking a screenshot, how are you trying to do it and what exactly is happening? Do you not maybe know how taking a print screen works? Once you hit print screen you need to paste the result into something, image editor, document.

It works, press on the print screen key(prt scn) on your Dell key board then image will be captured simultaneously go to start and select some document or you can select paint option to edit/crop the captured image and save it.
