iTunes recognizing EVERYTHING! Please help!

iTunes on my Windows 7 PC has all of my music, and I mean all. Every audio file it could find on my hard drive, including all the little sound effects and songs in the games I have on steam, are appearing in my iTunes library. I just want my actual freaking music to appear!

Reinstall the iTunes if those songs are still in the library folds.

I don't use iTunes, but most media libraries have an option that says which folders to scan for music. It might be called "watched folders" or something like that.

Thanks for the responses, but I've found my own solution! Stop using iTunes! Haha, I uninstalled iTunes and installed Winamp and I am much happier now.
