I've got a new dad player start to start which channel do I use to watch a dvd

I've just bought a new bush dvd. Co. Player you just put one end of scartlead in dvd and the other end in TV instructions say turn on the TV and set to the connected scartlead input wat does that mean I just want to know which channel do I put on to watch the dvd

You do not change channels, you change inputs on the TV to whatever you have the player connected to.

You don't put it on a channel. You use the tv's input or source selector to change it from the 'channel tuner' to the 'Scart input'
When you want to watch tv again, you just change the Input/Source back to the Tuner.

So I go to input go to Av1 start set up it says no signal will it play when I put dvd on play if so no problem I've not got the machine to hand I bought it for my dad thank you I'll try it tomorrow
