Hi I am Jason and I have purchased a new laptop. Now I want to install the antivirus s/w in it. Can anyone suggest me which one is the best to protect my computer from virus and must be not so heavy so that it do not affect the processing speed of my computer..

I use Avast - free version which constantly monitors my PC. And I do an occasional scan with Malwarebytes - free version - to see if something got past Avast.

Thanks all for sharing your views. I have already installed the Avast but sometimes it delete my important files promptly while scanning..Can we install two antivirus s/w simultaneously in my laptop?

You had purchased a new laptop, so it is not easy to select the best antivirus software on the bases of review's. The best antivirus software for 2015 are Kasper sky 2015, McAfee AntiVirus Plus 2015, F-Secure Anti-Virus 2015 and Bitdefender Antivirus Plus.

There are many antivirus software available like:-
Norton
AVG
Optimo AV
Mcafee
Avira
Bitdefender
Pandasecurity
Eset
QuickHeal
Kaspersky
Immunet

But for the more secutity and light-weighted antivirus, I am using "Optimo AV". So, you can opt. any one as per your need.
