just bought a new charger for my asus and still not get power

Asus k73sv ...is working fine but the charger stopped giving power ...so I thaught it was broken ...so I went and bought a new one but still nothing I've tried with and without battery but still not....I've tried in another room also .I did the power button for 40 sec.and nothing...

Return the power adapter and get your money back. It is obvious that it is not the issue. Issue could be that power connector in the laptop have come loose (solder joint broken), or could be that battery charging controller has failed.
