You will be fine connecting these together. An amplifier can be rated for several hundred watts output and work with speakers rated for 30 like yours. Of course you can turn it up and blow the speakers, but to little power can also destroy a speaker. An amplifier with not enough power to handle the signal will “clip”. Clipping can destroy a speaker just as quickly as too much power.My concern is that the speakers are 30 watts per channel that went with an amplifier output of the same. My amplifier's output maximum is 55 watts per channel so I would not want to blow the speakers.
Thanks for your info. I have connected the speakers to the amplifier and they work fine. I have no intention of cranking the volume to full as I get enough good quality sound at a reasonable level.You will be fine connecting these together. I know it’s a bit hard to understand, but you’ll be fine. An amps rating is how much it is capable of and won’t use it unless you crank it!!
