how do i use kaspersky 2011 it cam with my laptop i ran it now viruses

but do i need to turn it on or off does it run the entire time the computer is one or what

will it tell me if i get a virus or will it automatically remove it.

what is the quarantine and will disinfect all get rid of things in it

i cant believe it didnt come with a how to book lol

Is it running on the system tray? Is it configured for resident (live) protection? If so it will let you know if it finds a virus and quarantine it awaiting action from you. Quarantine means it is disabled with no access.
