Solved! Keep power on and charging it continuously

I have DELL laptop INSPIRON 6400 , 6 battery. Does it matter if I keep power on and charging it continuously?

It shouldn't hurt it anymore than keeping it off of the charger for extended periods of time. All laptop batteries eventually die out either way. Most are good for roughly 1K charges or so (depending on how many cells, what's in it, etc...).
