Keyboard cover for HP an003tx?

I bought the HP an003tx. It has red keyboard font. It's hard to see without backlight. So, any keyboard cover with white font for that model? I looked for it, but was not able to find it. Preferably from amazon, though not compulsory.

Also, does having backlight on for 80% of the time affect battery life? If yes, how much?

A keyboard cover won't help you, you need a new keyboard for that. Which does not seem to exist for that model outside of the OEM version which has the red keys.

Your next option is, buy one of those book-reader-clip-on-USB lights with a knob for lowest intensity, if you can afford the battery drain (and I don't know how much they drain).

This one is backlit in white, so probably easier to see with the lighting off. Comes from a model with the same Pavilion chassis as the OP's Star Wars version laptop.
