Keyboard only types numbers

My on screen and my USB plug in keyboards won't allow me to type any letters only numbers. Therefore I can't login to my laptop

For some reason after a windows 10 update my letter keys dont work. Only my number keys do. That is with an external keyboard and the on screen one as well. Because of that I can't log in to my computer
