Keyboard symbol Help

I can't get the straight up and down line to type. It is on the key beside the 1. I need it asap. It is for a code and it will not accept a capital I. If anyone can help me that would be awesome.

It's okay they sent me another code.

I tried that and it didn't work. The symbol is in blue.

If it's a laptop then it might be hte FN key and that key on the keyboard.

Well my keyboard doesn't have that symbol next to the 1, nor does it have keys in blue, so no idea what your keyboard is.
