Keyboard unresponsive after waking from sleep

I am running an HP Pavilion Dv6 laptop with AMD A8-3520M and 6 Gbytes of ram. I am running windows 10 pro.

I been having problems with my keyboard not responsive after waking from sleep. I have changed my power settings, checked my BIOS, and it still happens. It doesn't happen every time it wakes from sleep. It intermittent and happen at the worst times.

I am hoping someone might have a solution I haven't tried. I really don't want to do a fresh install but if that is the only thing that will fix it.

Have you tried uninstalling the driver, rebooting the computer (without reinstalling the driver first), and then when it boots up, it should reinstall it on its own.

See if this fixes it.

As I couldn't remember if did it that way or just uninstalled/reinstalled. So I tried that way and so far it is working. *crosses fingers* that it keeps working. The weird part is that doesn't always happen. It always seems to happen when I am deep into something and take a break, (eat etc)

. I have read so many fixes and nothing really works. The last fixed lasted like a month and then it started doing it again.

Very odd. Well if the driver fixes it great. It shouldn't keep repeating though. If it continues, I would look into if anything else on the system is causing conflicts.
