Keyboard usb power up?

I have a hp elitebook 8470p and it has been bugging me for a while now... i dont know if its a system fault or the power button itsself but my computor crashes while its charging and gaming at the same time and every now and then when im doing simple word power points, it doesnt blue screen, the fans just stop and the screen goes black and then i have to wait hours just to power it back on and i still have to spam press the power button, its connected to a monitor gaming mouse and keyboard and im wondering if my logitech g710 or even its defult keyboard can turn it on? Note that the g710 has 6 programmable keys yet i cant seem to find a function in the logitech gaming software that allows me to turn it on via keys, Thank you in advance and thanks for reading, help is appreciated.
