I've just noticed your website today from looking at these forums. I must say I'm impressed with the prices and I'm interested in buying from you, but, those specs are just a little too powerful making it a little bit over my budget which is around $1500 max, in Canadian dollars. Would it be possible to choose not so intense components for my laptop just to shave a little off the price? I'm looking at:

AMD Turion 64 MT - 2.0Ghz
1GB RAM
X1400 256MB Hypermemory
60GB 7200Rpm Hard drive

Thanks, bl4cK

Let me see what I can put together and post something for you tonight.
What video is acceptable for you
7300/7400 nVidia
x700
x1400
6600
exactly which ones, and I am coming up with an exchange rate of 90.5 to the # is that correct?

I'm not an expert, but I know this, I might have to strech my budget to afford a more powerful GPU for my laptop. After a bit of research, the X1400 just doesn't hold enough power for gaming satisfaction due to the whole of 2 vertex shaders and 4 pixel piplelines. I was thinking a X1600 would do the job, or nVidia's counterpart, recently I've had a thing for nVidia but it doesn't matter all that much which brand of GPU is in my laptop, as long as it gets the job done today, and most of tomorrow.

Thanks, bl4cK

P.S. As for the exhange rate for USD to CAD, I think it's 1 USD = 1.10100 CAD, so, the Eliminator I'm looking at is about $1837.67. IMHO, there is no way I can afford that. It's a little cheaper going with Intel, but lacks 64-bit architecture and could affect performance for games.

You might want to check out my (new and improved look) Mobile GPU Comparison Page.

Boils it down to pictures, which in most cases is the easiest to figure out anyway.

anyone have teh memory bandwidth numbers to the x1800 and x1800xt mobility cards. My brain is completely fried looking this stuff up.

Well, I took a look and I think that does it. X1600 seems like a good choice, but still, I can't afford any of your four setups.
