If Kinect did something - anything well, then perhaps I'd agree with you.

It seems the power of the 360 console is limiting the Kinect somewhat. I'd be seriously surprised if they didn't make it compatible with their next console. At that stage there would be any issue about processing power - the Kinect would probably be a much better device.
