Solved! Kodi apps on media box wont open

the add ons and kodi apps i have downloaded are there on my media box menu,but how do i actually open them? when i click on one it simply says if it has updates available and that is it. please help!

try updating the kodi box or reset it and update it, afterwards reinstall the other apps again
