Bought a used Sony Kv-32hs500 HDTV about a month ago. Had no problems
when I first tested it out. Now, it has a rolling horizontal white
line going through the tv. It starts small, but gets larger the
longer the set is on. Here is the really weird part: this only
happens on the coaxial and RC tv/video channels. The component and
dvi channels do not suffer form this. I have removed all possible
devices that could be interfering with no luck. Am I heading to the
repair shop? Anyone have a repair manual?

Thanks,
Ben

Have you timed it? Could it be a harmonic of 60 cycles as might be induced
by an A/C line near a signal line?
YMMV

I moved it (which isnt easy...) and still had the problem. About
decided it is the comb filter, because it is only on RC inputs and
coaxial. I guess I will just use component and DVI inputs and not pay
the moolah for now.
