they look like perfectly normal glasses to me, and the cameras have more or less the same design, albeit smaller, as the ones from 30 years ago.

We're really trying. From what dev tells me, whatever they're using it masks their IP, so banning by IP means banning an entire area as opposed to just the spammers.

We mods are removing it manually ... as we worship the ground you walk on Jane.

Now start clicking your camera at CES and get us a decent booth babe article going or its shoesrus for you young lady !!!

People who don't like Lady Gaga's "persona" as a performer need to realize that it is just that: A Persona. I don't like her particular style, but I respect that she came up with it and marketed it to appeal to a certain audience -- with great success. Nothing succeeds like success, and so why shouldn't a company struggling with image hire somebody who happens to have had great success at marketing image? Sounds like a "win, win" to me.

[citation][nom]longshotthe1st[/nom]From a musician's perspective, Lady GaGa is crap. From a teenie-bopper's perspective, lady Ga-Ga is a goddess. It's all relative.[/citation]
If that's a real musician's perspective, I salute him for being a retarded musician.
On topic: those gadgets seem kinda useless. GaGa should stick to her realm.
B+ for effort though.

Well, at least I don't get the impression that you are. I'm not trying to be an ahole here but there are effective measures to take. I see two routes to counter this spam

1) Enforce the verification by captchas for posts by members who have not yet achieved a certain status (i.e. badges owned, points gained etc). People above this status have earned the privilege of not needing to go through the hassle of having their posts verified by captchas as a "thank you" for their contribution to this community. Any member abusing this privilege by posting spam will get this privilege revoked.

2) People who have not yet achieved this status as described above will need to have their posts approved by a moderator before it gets published on the website. Perhaps a notification that the post is pending moderator approval is sent to the posters email. Actually this moderation could be done by any selection of trusted members in this forum in exchange for points or something. Of course abuse will lead to certain privileges revoked.

I'm willing to bet that this will deter most spammers on these forums. Btw, what happened to the thumb rating system? Something is wrong with it.

No pains no gains, as long as pay will have harvest, work hard, hope you can publish more articles, thank you for sharing it.
