Lan antenna conector

Does the antenna connector go in or over or inside the lan card terminal?

Are you talking about the wirleess lan card inside a laptop?

Yes...I have the white cable on but can't get the black antenna wire on...I think I have bent the connector.

Looks similar to your picture.

Ok, yeah it is what you are talking about.

The connector should clip on with slight pressure, turn it over and look at it, it should just be two rings.

If it is bent you can try to unbend it with small pliers screw driver.

If it is too far messed up you will have to find a replacement antenna/cable for your laptop (best bet is ebay) and dissasemble the screen beezel so that you can route the anteena/cable from the top of the screen to where your wireless card is.

Ok your right...I had one side bent and managed to bend it back out and connected it. Hope it stays on I put tape over it. Thanks for your reply.
