Lap top cannot connect to TV by HDMI cable

I cannot connect my HP lap to tv by HDMI cable recently. Before upgrading to W10 I was using this facility without any [problem.

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- Start by pressing the Windows key + P at the same time and select between Duplicate or Extended display.
- If these doesn't work do uninstall/reinstall the graphics driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Graphics card driver.
- Next is to check Programs and Features as well and uninstall anything related to your graphics card.
- Once done, do download and install the latest driver from the manufacturers site.
- Reboot your laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- After the reboot do test it again and see if the problem will be solved.
