Laptop AC Adapter keeps disconnecting when playing games

As the title suggests my ac adapter stops working when i play games, more demanding and less demanding alike.
I thought it could be the AC adapter having lower voltage than required, but it seems to be the right voltage, any suggestions?

I'm running a Aspire 5742G
- Intel i5-480M
- Nvidia GT 540M 2Gb
- 8Gb RAM DDR3

Could be a loose plug on the laptop or on the adapter itself. Is this an original Acer adapter or a replacement you got? Does it fit OK? First thing to do would be to test with another adapter.

Its a replacement, it does fit fine. I guess i can try, it might take some time until i reply about that since i dont have another, so please don't close this thread in the meanwhile xD
