Laptop Battery general wondering

I'm not that experienced with laptops I'm just got my first one yesterday and I have a question about how to maintain the battery life because I read a lot of conflicted opinions.

I have questions like should I remove the battery after charging and when I'm using the AC power or should I leave it also I'm using my laptop at work and I have no issues using it with permanent AC power with adapter plugged in full time is that also good for the battery to leave it a long time without draining it
