Hi. I was wondering I have the Asus X454LD-VX152H which is only a 5 days old laptop. It's actually a great laptop though the battery only lasts for about 2-3 hours now that is only web browsing and some youtube videos. Is the battery okay? The Power Plan is set to power saver. Also, the battery is a 2cell battery the sales person from the shop that I've bought told to me that the laptop will lasts for about 4-6 hours and 2-3 hours for gaming. The model of the battery is X550A26 btw.

Don't ever listen to sales ppl, You should always look up hardware reviews online from customers. Sales ppl will say whatever to get you to buy and item tbh

It is possible you just have a weak defective battery. You are only supposed to leave your battery in your computer when you do not have the power cord in...Unless you are charging it. or using it, do not leave the battery in if you aren't using it. This will increase the battery life by a lot...But now companies are making laptops with irremovable batteries

Most of the sales person doesn't even come to me because they probably know what I was doing. I check the specs of it on the PC Info window because some of the displayed spec sheet are actually wrong so I check the specs there and I actually check reviews from some sites before I buy them though this particularly laptop model is kinda impopular I guess because when I've searched the model number on Google it only gave me the specs of the laptop.

And no, I do not overcharge the laptop. I actually unplug them when the light indicator turn into white.

I've run a battery test and the results said that the design capacity of the laptop is only 37,331 mwh. I guess the battery is only small? I'm not really good at these things lol
