Laptop black screen

My acer aspire 5536 was working perfectly but now there is a black screen even though the other such as fan power and charging. Why is this problem and how could it be solved. Please help me out.

did you turn off the screen by pressing the function (Fn) key and the F key to turn off the display?

If wat bootcher said doesnt work try conecting to a external screen if it still doesnt work there is probably something with the videocard
