Laptop Bluray Projector

Hello all. I have a question. Please help. Will a Samsung laptop with an hdmi connection produce 5.1 audio and video into a Philips HTS 8562 blu ray player which will then work when I connect an acer k330 projector....? Movies from laptop to projector using the Philips HTS 8562 to produce 5.1!

Thanks for your help it will really mean a lot to me to find out.

Check the specs on your laptop. If it will actually output 5.1 audio over HDMI, then a direct HDMI connection to your HTS should provide you with 5.1 surround as well (assuming the source video actually carries a 5.1 audio stream).
